Shells and sea creatures are reimagined in the artwork of this NIAD artist, a gallery and studio for adults with developmental disabilities in Richmond, CA. I love the playful graphic quality the works bring to this children's bunk room. For the master bedroom, I selected artwork that brought the outdoors in and Elana Cooper's flower silhouette does just that. Drawing from a book of flowers, Cooper's signature subject, the flower, takes on a abstract quality and brings in a need pop of color. An artist with developmental disabilities, Cooper works out of the Creativity Explored studio in San Francisco, CA.
